Epona Farm
Laya was initially used as a broodmare and produced foals by both frozen and chilled
semen. She is an easy breeder and a good Mom. There were no issues with
pregnancy or delivery. We have put her U/S this spring and she just did her 2nd
schooling jumper show. She has schooled X-country. She brought home a blue ribbon
from both shows. Laya was very easy to start. At the shows she was very relaxed,
stood on the trailer quietly and walked quietly to the schooling area and ring (picture
below shows her standing quietly ringside). Same was true on the X-Country course.
Video from her show and X-country schooling. Video
Her half-brother (same dam), Bridon Beale Street, is eventing and winning at prelim.
Her sire, Glenlara, competed in Europe at grade B showjumping as well as doing
some dressage and serving as a Master's horse. Both her dam and grandam hunted
and drove.
She loves attention and is good for vet and farrier. She loads easily and trailers well.
She has a great Irish mind, but is green. She has had no soundness issues and is
current on shots and worming. She is 16.2-16.3. Pedigree Priced at $15,000
