Kahyill is a 2008 IDSH that was bred to be able to jump the moon. His sire is the Grand
Prix Holsteiner show jumper Hilltop Cordini (shown below) ridden by Margie
Engle-Goldstein. In addition, Cordini has the same sire of Cavalier Royale, who sired
many top event horses in Ireland. Cordini's grandsire Rantzau is a leading sire for top
show jumpers and eventers. Kayhill's grandsire (damsire - Glenlara) competed in
Europe in Grade B showjumping and dressage as well as serving as a Master's horse.
Cordini is known for producing amazing athletes with a wonderful disposition. He himself
transitioned from winning with a pro to packing a timid jr. He is ISR/Oldenburg NA
approved. His Performance Test requirements were waived due to his exceptional
competition record.
Kayhill learns quickly and enjoys working. The first time he was put in the arena with
ground poles and a jump, he had fun putting himself over them. He needed no
encouragement to try out the jump. He works in hand, loads, stands for vet and farrier.
