Epona's Rory O'Connor, arrived at 11:45 pm on 5-15. Rory is by the eventing and foxhunting RID stallion Dandelion Diamond Rebel and out of our TB mare, Saturday Nite Lady. Rory's Sire won the large ID class at the 2008 Upperville show. He is chestnut, but will grey. Connor (pictured left) is 17hh in height with 10 inch bone, and is known to pass on height and bone along with a wonderful disposition to his offspring. He combines the King of Diamonds and Rebel Yell lines which are known to produce wonderful jumpers and lovely movement. Rory loves people and comes to me in the field. Very balanced. Handled daily learning the basics. Pedigree Video: Trot 6-26; 6-26; both colts 6-17. Rory means Red or Great King and Rory O'Connor was the last high king of Ireland. He is for sale at $5,500 until weaning. Our Irish Draught mare Bridon Dairilea foaled a lovely chestnut colt on 6-5 at 1 am. The sire, Hilltop Cordini is known for producing amazing athletes with a wonderful disposition. ISR/Oldenburg NA approved Cordini for breeding in 1999 and his Performance Test requirements were waived due to his exceptional competition record. Cordini was chosen by Margie Goldstein-Engle as a jumper mount and success was easy for him. This foal is friendly, bold, smart and inquisitive. Very strong and coordinated for such a young age. He should mature to be a big boy. Priced at $7,000. 6-26; 6-26 walk; 6-26 canter both colts 6-17 video, Foal pedigree |
